We cooked delicious meals in a very-well equipped kitchen, set a beautiful table for an elegant Christmas dinner for 15, played games in the large comfortable parlor, went on beautiful country walks and kept 3 open fires burning to make it cozy. “We loved our stay at the Coachhouse. Daniel was there to meet us at check in and responded quickly to messages. It is off the beaten path. Make sure you bring food and drink with you if you haven't rented a car. We enjoyed our time relaxing and playing cards after a long day of exploring. It was clean and plenty of room for 8 adults. Would stay there again.”

The host, Daniel, was simply a delight to meet and chat with, and gave us some really good recommendations for site-seeing which we were able to use further into our trip. The Mill House is very large, and we loved having the huge kitchen and living areas. The bathrooms were a bit dicey to be honest, but what can you expect in an historic house? The room was freezing and couldn’t get the space heaters to work because the front desk woman didn’t tell me that you have to put your room key card in some slot to get any electricity to work and then they still didn’t work.
