"The rooms were very modern, spacious and relaxing. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. There was an ease being here, nothing to complicated. Which is what you want after a hectic day. The area was also peaceful and quiet and if you wanted to go the the city centre only a 10 minute walk. Breakfast was classic continental, some people would want cooked breakfast, however I was happy to have yogurt, fruit, cereal, toast and morning bakery goods. The only improvement i say is maybe the t.v's need updating, to chromecast. Excellent accommodation that felt like home, without no hassle."

"This is a fantastic hotel for a visit to Canterbury. Absolutely central to everything you come to Canterbury to see, but has the added bonus of being a hotel you look forward to coming back to at the end of the day. It feels like coming home. The staff, the ambience, the furnishing seem designed to create a feeling of welcome. Ask the staff about it's history as well. It's been here even longer than the Cathedral Gate that anchors it. Highly recommend if you like hotels that are story worthy. I'll definitely return."
