“Really did not enjoy the stay”

“New and very well positioned hotel along the river. Easy parking, and check in. Most amenities unavailable on a Tuesday, private club to join for Casino, bar. And outside the confines of the hotel there was a strong smell of smoke from the Casino. Huge room on 6th floor, with great view of river, river traffic and the lighted bridge to the south. Walked downtown waterfront to find food.”

“The hotel room was very clean and the beds were comfortable, which made for a good night’s sleep. The staff was friendly and the overall stay was pleasant. The only downside was the breakfast. The food selection was limited and the quality was disappointing. Other than breakfast, the hotel experience was good.”

“Room was very clean. Breakfast was good with several options. Would recommend staying here.”

“Left side of upper hallway of ceiling was falling down, it was not blocked off when we checked in. There were several holes in the ceiling of the right end of hallway as well that wasn’t covered or blocked off. Handle of the sink came off in my hand when I went to turn on the water. Overall facility was in disrepair. Would not recommend staying here.”

“The room was not very clean, a lot of dust on everything and the carpet. Bathroom didnt look like it was ready to be rented, but it was functional. I would stay there again, but hopefully the room is complete first.”

“The clerk barely spoke English but I had a confirmation so all he had to do was point. The room seemed clean but walls were very stained and tired. The kitchenette was completely devoid of anything to use for dining. Not even plastic soons or anything. So if you don't bring absolutely everything you need to eat a meal, you're just out of luck. There was a refrigerator and microwave and stove. That was appreciated. The beds were very hard and to the point, we didn't sleep very well. The place……

“I am the kind of person who would rather help someone with their small business than hurt them with an unfavorable review. I texted Matt and asked if he would call me so we could chat about his rental; I have now waited a week and he apparently is not interested in my thoughts. So, I guess I’ll post them to keep others from being disappointed. This is a cute Little Blue Cottage, but I arrived at around 6:00 PM and it was totally dark-no porch light was left on, and house was unlit…not very……
