“I loved my stay at the Brae. It was the perfect place to get over jet lag as I embarked on a one-month vacation of the U.K. It’s a couple of miles outside of town, and the bus to downtown stops right in front of the house, which was perfect. Very comfortable for sleeping. Having a bath tub to soak in after a day full of walking was heaven. Graeme was an extremely welcoming and informative host. Definitely recommend t He Stay at the Brae.”

“Excellent location close to royal mile, apartment was clean, well maintained and nice amenities. The issue is the noise - the close backs on to a hotel and bar and staff use the entrance for their breaks all through the night. On friday and Saturday nights I slept with ear plugs but was still woken hourly by the noise. During the week, it was a little quieter but I was still woken 3 or 4 times. The windows are so thin it sounds like people even speaking are in the apartment. ”

“This place was fantastic, close to everything just a short bus or uber to the royal mile. The views are spectacular we enjoyed hikinking up to the ruins directly across the street. I loved the stairs leading into the apartment. The kitchen had everything we needed and the laundry was fun😁. Most importantly the beds were very comfortable. I highly recommend this flat and would definitely stay again.”
