“This is a very unique and once in a lifetime place to stay. It is a 10-15 minute walk along the cliffs above the sea to reach the historic cottage. It is definitely a bit rustic, but an authentic experience. We visited the towns of Cinque Terre which were very touristy and it was a relief to return to this isolated location with amazing views. Mariella was great at communicating through WhatsApp and met us and lead us all the way to the cottage- which is necessary because google maps won’t get……

“We were so pleased to find a rental located in the quaint village of Corniglia. The place was clean and the terrace on the rooftop had breathtaking views of the coastline. We did not receive check in instructions until the day of arrival so we would have preferred communication in advance. The showers are quite small and there are steps to manage with your luggage but we managed without any difficulty. We were overall very pleased with the rental and would visit again.”

“The apt is extremely nice. Everything is top notch. Unique devote in each room. Our only regret were the stairs. Approx 130. So be prepared!! We would definitely stay here again”

“The property was a comfortable transition from a regular hotel room. We enjoyed the outdoor patios and used the kitchen for breakfast 2 days and the washing machine several times. The only issue was the third floor stairs after a steady hill climb- for those with mobility issues- this property would be impossible. We hope to return next year. ”

“Parfait pour visiter les cinq terres et alentours. Renata est très sympathique et nous donne de bons conseils de visites. Porto Venere ou Lerici sont aussi très agréables à voir et plus tranquilles. Le pesto et la confiture de Renata sont excellents ! Notre voiture était garée dans un parking privé fermé par un portail. Le voyage était parfait.”

“Our stay at Casa del Borgo was pleasant. We had good communication w/host as very responsive. We did not realize how remote the air b n b was, but it made for a private cozy getaway. Renata left great suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. she even made dinner reservations for us! “Nous avons passé une semaine en famille très ressourçante. La maison est très agréable et très bien décorée, aménagée. Le jardin est très agréable. Le village de Villecchia est très très joli et le point de départ de très jolies ballades/ randonnées. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'accueil très sympathique de Roby et le calme du village.”

“Good communication with host. Easy check in. Biggest plus of this apartment is the location right in Marconi Piazza. There is not a lot of accommodation in Vernazza especially ones that don’t require multiple sets of stairs, only one up to the apartment here. The beds were comfy and we had everything we need although we did not do any email preparation. The kitchen how to basics. We would stay here again.”

“Lots of steps but totally worth every step. The upstairs bedroom with window open, listening to the sea - it’s just a dream. Loved the cute kitchen and we made several meals here with ingredients from stores just a short walk away. We hope to be back next year!”

“Petit nid douillet au calme, très agréable et accueillant avec une superbe vue et quelques réserves alimentaires bienvenues!!! Il manque juste 1 petit micro-ondes. Et pour le croisement de la route un petit miroir pour sécuriser la sortie au croisement (plus difficile à moto).”

“We were traveling as a family with three young adults and two grandparents - and this was a fantastic find! The bus is a bit expensive (5 Euros per person/trip) but if you don’t have a car, well worth it. We had two cars and had to search for parking for the second, but I think we just missed that info. The house is gorgeous and totally unique and we had everything we needed. Lots of hikers to Portofino (and it was the off season!) passing by, but I would take the trails instead of the road if……

“The check in staff and breakfast staff were absolutely excellent, they couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. The rooms and hotel were very comfortable and clean and the breakfast was excellent. The location was good for us when coupled with the regular free local mini buses. It was good for access to Baia Blu with good car parking. It was quite expensive but we certainly hope to stay again. ”

“La Ligurie est une région extraordinaire, la Spezia et le parc naturel des cinq terres sont de vrais petits bijoux. Lidia nous a permis de passer un séjour très agréable, elle nous a donné plein de renseignements en français ce qui nous a beaucoup facilité les choses. L’appartement de Lidia était idéalement situé près de tous : la gare, le centre, les commerces, les bonnes pizzerias. Nous avons passé une semaine de rêve, ne se déplaçant que par train, bus pour découvrir Pise, les cinq villages……

“The hotel is surprisingly clean, great location, just blocks away from the train station. Front desk staffs are very friendly. Room is spacious and spotless, it’s a relatively new hotel so everything feels fresh. Breakfast is ok ish, but I do love all the interior.”
