“O hotel fica na Quinta do Portal, uma casa de fazenda bem adaptada para hotel. O quarto e wc grande, varanda e bem decorada. O café da manhã maravilhoso. Um detalhe só, as estrada do restaurante para o hotel por 2 vezes ficou bloqueada por carros entregando mercadoria para o restaurante e tivemos que esperar a operação. O jantar menu degustação vale muito a pena”

“We were so surprised by what was hiding behind the entrance door to this stay. A non descript metal door opened onto the cutest gravel courtyard and beyond that a lovely vineyard. Staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. We decided last minute to join other guests for dinner and a wine pairing. My gluten free diet was accommodated and the food was amazing. But more so was the experience of touring the historical family home and dining by candlelight. Hearing all about the wine from the……

“The surroundings are beautiful, all vineyards. Know that this is in a pretty isolated area and it requires driving on small two lane mountain roads with some hairpin turns to get here. We were practically the only guests here during our stay, and had a breakfast spread waiting for us each morning. We had the infinity pool to ourselves. The grounds are great. The room was kind of fancy looking, but romantic. (Note: glass walls on the bathroom.) Also note, you have to drive at least 15 minutes……

Nao tem estacionamento, mas na rua do hotel tem um supermercado onde tem convênio com o hotel e podemos colocar lá sem taxa alguma. Voltarei com certeza! ”

“Its a great experience living in the barrel. Every customer staying there include one wine tasting tour, understand more about Port wine. However, moving there or other spots might possibly need to drive. No public transport reaching the area.”
