"We've been to the "go-go" big resort like the SLS BAHA MAR a couple of times before .... then we found this small upscale boutique resort As seniors, this is a marked contrast much for the better: peace and quiet is NEVER a bad thing . "For the price and location its worth it if on a budget in the Bahamas. Its location is very convenient to the airport. Also you are able to walk to the beach across the street. If you are looking for fancy and very high end accommodations, this place will disappoint. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful. There is a coffee/breakfast shop in the lobby that was very nice."

"Rooms were very clean and well appointed. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and efficient. The resort has a pool, waterpark, and a beach on the canal. Also very close to many restaurants, shops, cafes, and stores. I've been going to The Bahamas for 30 years, but had never stayed here. I would highly recommend this for singles, couples, and families. It is closer to the airport than many other options and in a very nice neighborhood. When entering the rooms, the A/C is already on, which is even more inviting, especially when arriving on hot days and after a flight. The only criticism would be the noise in some of the rooms from other vacationers with loud children, but I would still choose this over other options. This is also close to the best beaches on the island and without all of the overstimulation of some resorts. However, if one wanted to go to any of the destinations in the West, this is close, and"

"“Overall, our stay at The Lemon Cottage had both positives and drawbacks. The listing was described as beachfront, but the property was not directly on the beach and did not have an ocean view, which was disappointing. The kitchen was also quite minimally equipped and lacked adequate storage space, and some of the bedding/bedding was not great.On the positive side, the host was very responsive and easy to communicate with, which we appreciated. The biggest highlight was the beach directly across the street—it was absolutely beautiful, quiet, and felt private, which was exactly the kind of atmosphere we were looking for.With some updates and more accurate listing details, this could be an excellent stay, but it didn’t fully meet our expectations as advertised."

"Overall, this is a wonderful vacation property. Communication with property management was great, they were responsive and even offered suggestions for excursions while we were in Nassau. Location of the property is also really good. Close to a lot of great restaurants and amenities, but just far enough from downtown that you are not feeling crowded. Pulling out of the driveway is a bit trickly, but we got it figured out pretty quickly.The beach and water are amazing!The only way to get to the beach is through a basement bedroom or out the front door. Overall, this was a minor inconvenience that we quickly adapted to. The patio off of the living room / dining room is wonderful. Nothing better than grabbing a cup of coffee in the morning and sitting on the patio overlooking the water. Big hit with my group."

"We loved our stay here! Tracy was so welcoming and had a lovely basket for us & goodies to welcome us. We loved the pool and cooking on the bbq. We were able to walk to the nearby bus and get around using the bus system. Tracy also helped put us in touch with a driver if we needed it. The house was extremely clean and we loved the air conditioning. Thank-you so much for making our stay in the Bahamas so wonderful. "

"We had an excellent time at the property. I would like to make a few suggestions. While we had the main house and the check in process was easy many other guest staying on the property struggled with check in. Several people came to our pool are after dark looking for their "room." While we had no problem helping them attempt to find it, it was challenging. There should maybe be a Map and better lighting (motion lights) so people can see what they are looking for. Parking for the main house should be outside of the gate as our van blocked the only walk way to the other rooms for people who had bags. (We were told to park inside the gate) The staff were very attentive when we had questions or needs. I would also suggest leaving a book for guest to share their experiences with local activities and maybe brochures/menus. "
