It is well appointed and very clean. Good parking. Nice place but I usually don't stay on busy streets. But, if you want to be close to the downtown square, it is a great place!

Perfect stay

We stayed in town for our first Maple Festival and this house was perfect all around. Just a five minute walk to the square so we didnt have to find parking for the event. The accommodations were excellent, very taken care of home and very clean. Thank you for a great weekend getaway.

My family and I had a wonderful time at the Maple Cottage in Chardon. What a quaint property. A perfect place to visit Sharon in the surrounding area. Last year we went to the Maple festival and this year we went to the great jug of county fair. This was a perfect homebase for us. The cottage was immaculate. With plenty of room for all of us to sleep. The weather was perfect. We really enjoyed ourselves. And the owners went above and beyond. We loved our stay and will be back as often as they’ll have us.

Had a great stay!

This was our 2nd stay at the Geauga Maple Cottage. We're originally from Chardon and return occasionally to visit family and friends. The location of the house works out great and is a walkable distance to a few restaurants, bars, stores, the walking trail, and the town square. The house was clean and stocked with everything we needed. Both the house and yard are well maintained and we enjoyed having a few guests over and sitting around the firepit in the backyard. The owners are helpful and available for anything you may need. Looking forward to another stay next year.

Every visit is lovely

This is our third time staying here while visiting family. The location is perfect, close enough to walk around the square and easy to get to so much of our family and friends. Plenty of food options and stores nearby. Having space to spread out and relax after days of holiday get togethers is so nice and the hosts are very responsive to any questions or concerns.

This was our second time staying in this home. It’s very comfortable, and has all the supplies needed. It’s also very close to a beautiful bike path which we enjoyed and to grocery stores. We will definitely stay there again.

Simply amazing

The location was perfect since everything we needed was not too far away. The house was very clean and we like our stay so much that if we had the time we would have stayed longer. Would highly recommend this location if you need to stay will taking in the area.

Cozy cottage walkable to shopping and restaurants

We stayed here with our four kids for over two weeks. It was well equipped, and lots of points of interest in walking and even more within short driving distance. The property owners live next door and were friendly, helpful, and available whenever we needed them.

Summer trip back home

Great location for our trip back home to see family and friends. It’s so nice to have our own place as a home base! The property is in a perfect location near the square for shopping and dining. Hosts are super responsive and the house is clean and cozy. Will definitely stay again!

We came from Georgia for a Family Reunion and were so pleased with our stay in this home! Our little kids loved spending time with Jasper the owners dog who lived next door! This home has all the amenities needed. One Bathroom was our only challenge but we made it work! Would definitely stay here again 😁

Relaxing Memorial Day Retreat

Our family of five greatly enjoyed our stay in Chardon especially as this house is within walking distance to a number of nice restaurants. The front porch with rocking chairs, the children’s games, and the cozy reclining chairs were highlights for our children. The laundry room, nicely equipped kitchen, and cozy bedrooms were just right. Definitely recommend!
