「Overall this is a terrific venue and we were very pleased with our 4 day stay. the place is very clean and the service was excellent. the breakfast is your typical continental breakfast and was good. the wine and cheese at 4pm was a nice extra and started off each evening on the right note. the location is very convenient to the Market and various restaurants. would definitively stay there again when we go back 」

「We spent two nights at Tides Folly Beach right before Xmas and enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay here again especially in the summertime. Clean room and friendly staff. Great view of the pier and beach from our room. We watched lots of surfers. Easy and free onsite parking. There are many cute restaurants nearby. We didn't get a chance to try it but Pinky's looks like a fun beachside restaurant right at the hotel. Quick 20-min drive to downtown Charleston. Our mini frig was making a noise...

I did make a note at checkout the 2nd floor where I was staying when you got off the elevator you were hit with a smell of mold like maybe they shampooed the carpets with a dirty solution…it was terrible and went the entire hallway. We had a fire alarm pulled at 2:00 am and they evacuated the entire hotel. That was a bit rough. 」

「The room was spotless and the staff very courteous. The interior could use some TLC but was not bad. We were surprised upon check in to find the valet parking and parking at a garage down the street were the only options at $48/night. It's not mentioned in the hotel description or reviews that I found. Plenty of restaurants close by.」
