Cheney Hotel with Pool

"This hotel is amazing! The staff was super friendly at check in and check out, and they even put the bike I brought for my trip in a safe spot for me overnight! The rooms were super clean and comfy, and the pool area was so nice. We loved being able to be right next to the gorgeous Riverfront park. "

"Have been coming here for decades. Ever since Marriott took it over, it's lost the luster and appeal that made it a great place to stay. Always understaffed. You are placed on hold forever (if the phone is even answered) to order room service or contact the front desk. Management has an I-don't-care attitude. We are saying goodbye and will start to try other hotels in the area."

"The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. The coffee was good. I know it is out of their control, but the unhoused people in the neighborhood (The 7-11 across the street) is not safe. I counted 25 people doing various things, with a lot of taking or exchange of drugs. When I went down the stairs to the car on the La Quinta property there was human feces. The hotel was fine, but I would not stay there again because of the neighborhood. I was concerned that my care might have been broken into with all this goings on."
