“We had such a great stay at the overlook nook! We were impressed by how clean the property was and we absolutely loved the view from all the windows in the front. We also love the fenced yard for our dog and love being able to park in the back in a carport. The host is extremely communicative and everything went smoothly. Look forward to staying there again.”

“The location to town was very nice. The ease of entry and locking up when we left was user friendly. The host responded quickly when I email questions before our visit. The drawbacks were that the hot tub was cloudy so we weren’t able to use it, there were cob webs in most of the rooms and spiders in some of them as well. The house was darling but didn’t seem to be clean. The sofa sleeper was very uncomfortable and we weren’t able to find a fitted sheet for it. I had to sleep on the leather……

"As a continental breakfast, the variety was actually quite good. Unfortunately, the hotel really needs a better chef—the potatoes were mushy and burnt, sausages took 30 minutes to come out, the eggs were overcooked, and the toaster setting was too long, leaving the bread burnt. The room itself was decent, but check-in was a nightmare. We waited nearly an hour because of poor communication between the hotel and EXPEDIA. Even though we had already paid, the hotel almost charged us again. Too many issues overall. The only real highlight was the swimming pool, which our child absolutely loved"
