“My Service Dog Javier and I enjoyed our stay at Misty Blue. The house was lovely, with cool artistic touches throughout. I love older homes, and this one has been very well maintained.Although I did not cook in the kitchen, it was well supplied with everything one might need. The house is located in a great area and I walked everywhere.”

“Beautiful experience. The property was right on the bay with spectacular views and sunsets. The house itself was wonderful. It was comfortable and beautifully appointed with high quality furnishings and antiques.The kitchen had everything needed. AC and overhead fans provided excellent comfort. Kayaks and a canoe were great for cruising on the bay. They also had bikes available (we brought our own). Biking is a pleasure on the rural and flat terrain of the Eastern shore. “A great place to stay! Technically a small house, it still felt very spacious for four people. Everything was clean and well kept. The property was beautiful and private. The location was also great; we never had to drive more than 20 minutes to get anyway. I would definitely recommend!”

“Very clean room. Rented a small boat from them and took our dogs with us; they loved being on a boat! Beautiful views of the water and assateague lighthouse right from the property, especially at sunset. We paid for the water taxi to take us to a secluded beach for a few hours. The dogs got to run in the sand, and we saw the wild horses on the same shore as us maybe 100 yards away! The staff was very attentive.”

Tucked right on the water, it offered a serene, calming atmosphere that made it easy to unwind. The family-run hosts were incredibly thoughtful. We signed up for a pontoon boat tour and we saw eagles, dolphins, and ponies! every detail was taken care of, making us feel truly at home. Highly recommend for anyone looking to relax and recharge.”

“A wonderful little place!! Cozy, clean, comfortable, and convenient to everything. Communication with the hosts was very quick and easy. Perfect place for my husband and me. Love eating out, but with a little planning (we brought some basic food items, a Dash egg maker, hot pot, and griddle/panini maker) we were able to eat in as well. Be aware that the refrigerator is quite small. My husband loved the shower. Love the screened in porch too. The only thing I would recommend is a better mattress,……

“The cottage was clean, well stocked with essentials (and appreciated nonessentials) and charmingly decorated. We appreciated the quiet neighborhood as well as the easy proximity to the playground, pickleball courts, and Farmers market on Saturday and Wednesday. Christine obviously put a lot of thought and effort into making our stay comfortable and enjoyable and was quick to respond to any questions we had. “It was off season for the water activities but that didn’t change the view or ability for the kids to play in the sand being right on the beach. We were able to spread out in the house as needed. Easy access to I-64”

“Wonderful stay! Amazing private beach on the mouth of the Severn that is waist deep water, our whole family had a blast! We enjoyed swimming, paddle boarding, etc.. We would definitely come back! Unfortunately you're not able to take a water taxi directly from the property, you have to walk over to a nearby marina. They also only pick up one time per hour as an FYI so it's not the most convenient way to get downtown. I would definitely recommend the house, everything was clean and it was……

“Wonderful owners with phenomenal communication. They were very patient and super responsive to messages. They went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Property had everything we needed and more and was steps from the ocean. The beach itself was private and not crowded at all. This was our 2nd time staying and will definitely not be our last.”

“Very clean perfect location for St. Michael’s everything is walking distance from the house looking forward to coming back. ”

“The property was great, awesome cabin with all that we needed. Cutest general store and great playgrounds. Dog park for a pet and very convenient. Only negative is that it is directly beside a very active railroad track. After the first night you get used to it though. Very friendly, very clean!”

“We absolutely love the salty sailor beach house, upon arrival the place was very clean! Spacious and just made it feel like we walked in to our temporary home for the week! The stay was amazing! The yard was nice to relax in play football, the grill was clean everything was perfect !”
