“We Usually stay in hotels, but decided to stay in a guest house this time. Got to say we were really impressed with Chester house. It was very clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, (in both here and their sister property, Chester court hotel, next door), and the included breakfasts were excellent. In addition, it was great to have ample free parking on site The location is also very convenient for Chester city centre and also to nearby Hoole village,……

“Great location. The room was nice, if a little warm, the A/C wasn’t very powerful and our fridge didn’t work. However the room was very clean and had a nice feel to it. The hotel in general had quirky decor which was interesting to look at. The breakfast was ok, but we were disappointed there wasn’t any cereal, pastries and other help yourself items. The staff very very friendly and helpful. Overall we enjoyed our stay.”

“quite noizy for the room located on the road side, even after close the window. Luckily the staff in the frant desk was very kind to exchange our room close to the less noizy corner. Otherwise this is a very good choice hotel in terms of CP value. ”

“Ample parking space, some at the back of the property as well as the front. Booking in was straight forward enough but they wanted a payment card handed over so that they could make all the entries instead of putting a card through a card reader. This is a little unsettling and if there is any anomalies with my bank statement they will be the prime suspects. Staff were very pleasant and efficient.
