Chesterfield Family Hotel

"Rooms were not up to date. It had a motel vibe. The sheets were stained, floors and closets were dirty. Couch bed was sunken in and sounded like you were drilling a hole in the wall. Dog Poop everywhere outside. Oh And my room was cancelled by 4:12 even though check in is at 4 and I opted to pay at check in. Never again. "

"Nice hotel, clean beds. What didn’t like is no one cleans the room until you check out. No clean towels, no vacuuming and kids run up and down the halls. The hotel needed an update and a few repairs but it wasn’t bad for a short stay."

"The room was clean, but the sink didn't drain. Bed was not comfortable, you could feel the springs. An hour prior to checkout a staff member opened the door, did not knock, and said hello and the left. I went to look who came by and I could see the lady walking down the hall. I wasn't about to shout down the hall to see what she needed. They also tack on an automatic charge of $16 per day at checkout. I've stayed here before and after the renovations. The cleanliness has not changed, but the character is gone. Honestly, it just felt like a standard chain hotel. I like to stay there because of the security, but after a staff member opened my door without knocking, I'll try a different hotel next time. I did notify them at checkout and about the sink, the response was dismissive."
