Clear instructions and easy entry. Unit was very clean. Kitchen was very well stocked and included a wide selection of herbs and spices, oil, salt,pepper and sugar and starter selections of coffee and tea. There's a drip coffee maker, blender and toaster. Just about any kind of pot or pan you might need, including baking sheets. Likewise a variety of glasses, dishes and cutlery. In-unit washer and dryer were easy to use and very convenient. The building has a rooftop lounge area with a couple of gas grills, a bocce court and some other games. We hung out in the indoor lounge a bit since it was so cold out. Theres a fireplace, a bunch of games, billiard table and record player with an eclectic collection of vinyl. Also a coffee machine that seems to be available at any time but no cups provided. The location is great with several buses that stop right outside and the Blue line just over a block away. No parking provided with the unit but street parking out front was readily available except during evening hours when the ramen restaurant was open.Speaking of which, definitely eat there (Akahoshi Ramen)! Eater Chicago and others rate it highly and we enjoyed it immensely.Another plus to this location is the store on the first floor, which you can reach without going outside. That comes in handy when its 10 degrees outside. They have most anything you might need/want including some prepared foods and liquor.
