"We stay at the Blu whenever we need to overnight in downtown Vancouver. We’ve stayed here many times and find it’s a good deal through Expedia for the included parking below grade that is typically $40+ depending on the place. The rooms are relatively spacious with many options depending on your stay requirements. Loft bed, outside deck, breakfast included, you have it all at an additional cost. It’s walking distance to BC Place, Rogers Arena, QE theatre and many restaurants, pubs, nightclubs, and so much more. We are regulars when staying downtown and don’t see that changing anytime soon. "

"We would recommend Keefer House. Clean, quiet, very comfortable bed. Our only negative comment is that due to the number of drug addicts we were not completely comfortable walking more than a couple of blocks but Keefer House was very upfront about the neighborhood beforehand. Some very interesting history to the building and parks nearby."

"Staff were super great, good nearby was good. However, room wasn't as cleas as we'd like. Bed was good, bit bathroom had red smear (blood maybe) on the wall, black in the grout of the shower l, and shower was squeaking indicating poor adhesive. Pool was also a let down. Cold pool (not heated) and hot tub was extremely chlorined. It wasn't clear at booking that parking was additional costs, but it does make sense given the area. Parkade does need work though! Ripping concrete damaging tires, dump area in front of your car where they dump old mattresses. We'll be trying somewhere else on our next trip. "

"Mar 2026 There is some construction right outside the hotel so it makes it slightly more difficult to enter on one-way streets at the moment. In terms of the actual hotel, it is convenient to the subway and is pretty central. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff are friendly. "
