"Visited with my baby and child. Kitchen was helpful if you have a baby and need to wash bottles and refrigerate milk. Pool was great. The continental breakfast was very nice to have."

"the retro styling is fun, but it’s a motel 6 and you should expect a motel 6. the rooms are clean, small, neat, and basic. the location can NOT be beat at the price point, though. you’re just steps from west beach and parking was free and ample. honestly, it would have been a perfect room with a better mattress (awful) and better pillows and towels (suboptimal)."

"The Hyatt was a reasonably priced pet-friendly hotel in Santa Barbara so I thought I would give it a try. A true pet-friendly hotel should have a couple of essential things available to guests and their pets. First, you should provide a location on the property where it is suggested you can take your pup to relieve themselves. It was only on the second day that I found a side exit where there was a bag dispenser and a garbage can for poop. This hotel is located on a busy freeway access road with really nowhere to go and nowhere pleasant to walk. Second, we found out only after checking in that there was no way to open the windows in our room to air it out after a night in a smallish room with our large dog. That is not great when traveling with dogs and the first hotel that I have ever been to that doesn't have working windows (other than a high-rise). Disappointing. "
