"Unfortunately, my stay at Sofitel Dubai Downtown was quite disappointing and did not live up to the standards I expected from a Sofitel property. From the moment I arrived, I did not feel genuinely welcomed during check-in. The service throughout the stay also left much to be desired. Room service was extremely slow, which was frustrating, especially when you expect prompt service from a hotel of this standard. The breakfast was another disappointment. It was very standard, and during my four-day stay, I hardly noticed any variation in the selection. I expected more variety and attention to detail, particularly from a hotel of this reputation. Overall, the experience lacked the warmth, efficiency and hospitality I was expecting. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works towards improving the guest experience."

"Fagesh is a very sweet and warm person. He connected with us a lot, had a great conversation with us, and truly knows how to provide excellent customer service. I hope the hotel recognizes his hard work and rewards him! The person who helped us check in was also very nice. However, I hope the two guys working the front desk on Friday, October 3rd in the morning learn how to provide proper customer service, as they were very rude. Because Fagesh and the check-in staff were so wonderful, I still want to leave a good review. I don’t want to give a bad rating just because of those two employees. I truly hope management looks into who was working that morning shift and provides them with more training."
