「Highly recommend finding another place to stay in Coba or elsewhere. This place is clearly gearing up to be sold. Almost no staff around, and limited service. We booked this hotel to use the complimentary bikes and access to spa services as provided in the description when booking as we wanted to bike to the Coban ruins. They did not have these, so we decided to check out the next day. The front desk manager, who had no idea of anything going on, checked us out and said we would be refunded...

「Villas de Rosa is a hidden gem. The location is right on a beautiful quiet beach with great snorkeling right in front. The rooms are very spacious with everything you need. The beach bar has great food and amazing staff that make you feel comfortable. We will be back regularly! 」

The sargassum situation was much earlier and much worse than usual. There was no way to swim from the hotels beach and they stated they couldn't clear the beach due to it being a turtle nesting area. 」

「The entire staff at the resort are amazing. Our concierge Gina was very helpful with recommendations for tours off the property, and things to do on the property. Carlos and Dieder from the entertainment team were full of energy and so genuine in their desire to make sure we were engaged and having fun. 「This was a last minute trip and I must say I had absolutely a WONDERFUL time and sooooo happy I stayed here! The Staff…EVERYONE was so nice, professional, helpful, kind, sweet, and attentive.
