The house was just what the pictures described! Our only problem with it was the amount of time it took to get back to Colorado Springs. If it was closer we might have been able to do more in town.

Great stay at Avalanche Ranch

We had a wonderful time staying here. The house is big and beautiful, very clean with gorgeous wood furniture! It snowed during our stay so we went outside and built mini snowmen! Took pictures of my nephew with the natural beauty of the trees and mountains covered in snow! Definitely would love to come back and stay here again in the future.

We love the Avalanche Ranch!

This mountain home is a must stay for a relaxing get away! We loved how private this property was. My wife and I loved spending time in the hot tub looking out at the beautiful mountain views. The views were even more unbelievable at sunset. In the mornings we enjoyed grabbing coffee from Costello’s Coffee House in the quant little town of Florissant. In the evenings the wrap around porch was great for grilling and playing one of the many board games provided by the host. The fire pit was used to enjoy post dinner s’mores! There is also a great bar/hangout space in the lower level of the home. Very clean property with comfortable beds and furniture also. We will definitely be back :)

Beautiful home but smelled terrible (dead mice)

This was a beautiful home in a lovely location but we had a few disappointments. Our very first impression was a terrible stench when opening the doors - we had 7 people - every reaction was “What is that horrible smell?!” I found several mouse traps w dead mice and the kitchen stunk for a week even after searching and removing the ones I could find. There was mouse poop in kitchen drawers. I don’t know how long the house had been empty between guests but somebody should have noticed. We really did love the property but the smell is not one we will forget.

Mountain Views + Hot Tub = The Perfect Weekend

Avalanche Ranch was amazing! My family and I drove down from Highlands Ranch to enjoy a relaxing weekend in the mountains. The drive to this home was beautiful, the home is tucked away from other properties in the area and offers miles and miles of mountain views with plenty of privacy. The pictures do not do this home justice, the hardwood floors were gorgeous and it has such a nice layout with an open kitchen that faces the spacious living area with french doors that lead to a large deck to enjoy plenty of sunlight, I loved the high ceilings the stained glass windows that let in really cool colors of light. There were plenty of board games and a fun selection of books in the loft upstairs. The master bathroom was incredible, one of the best showers I've ever been in with several shower heads, lots of room and a window with a view. At night we enjoyed stargazing in the hot tub and roasting s'mores on the fire pit. Overall this was just a really cozy, comfortable and beautiful place to stay. We would love to make a trip back in the summertime!
