“I would say the cottage is modest but comfortable. It is located at the edge of Petit Jean State Park so it is near everything the park has to offer. I planned to bring my dog but changed my mind at the last minute. It would have been perfect for travel with a pet. It is located far from the highway and has a very large field for dogs to run and play. ”

“Host was friendly and helpful. Cabin was perfect for me and my nephew's weekend hiking trip to Petit Jean. Very clean and had everything we needed. Will definitely be back!”

“The cabin decor was cute, overall. We appreciated having Netflix! Property was generally clean (besides some dead insects in the windows) and dust. Checkout time on the Vrbo listing was different compared to what was requested on the house rules inside the cabin. There is also a fridge so we did not need to bring our large ice chest. Personally would not recommend the location for guests with younger children, as the privacy was nonexistent and there was not an area to safely play in the……

“We were disappointed to find the place dirty. The restroom was not clean. There was hair on the toilet and in the shower. Yellow stains and drips were on the restroom walls and blinds. And there was mold on the shower curtain. The bedroom blinds had stains, and the microwave had food stains. It was unfortunate because the place itself was cute and we could tell the host took a lot of care to decorate for Christmas. We reached out to the host, and they acknowledged the place was not clean, but……

“Wonderful location with close proximity to Petit Jean State Park. Rock House Cave trail is right across the street. The cabin was clean and comfortable with all the amenities we needed. There was no firewood in the rack when we arrived but we were able to forage wood from the forest floor and we spent a lot of time sitting around the campfire. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and utensils. There was a nice screened in porch with a picnic table and a daybed. ”
