“Originally placed in an unrenovated room that was quite dingy and in need of serious love, looks like it hadn’t been touched since the 80s. Paid to upgrade into a renovated room which was much nicer. But with the upgrade fee, the value was not as attractive.
Overall the renovated public areas are nice, especially the rooftop, but it’s a very large hotel and can get crowded (for example, long lines to check in and check out, with not many front desk staff even during peak hours). ”
