「Yes it was, the staff were exceptional, young man when we were leaving for the airport and needed to find our laundry which should have been delivered by an outside laundry, totally saved us. He called the laundry which was about to close for the day. Offered to go with us in the taxi that he had ordered to assist with dealing with the laundry. We didn’t require that but he already called them to establish our laundry was there. PS if staying at the hotel DO NOT USE Arthur’s laundry service....

「We purchased a day pass to enjoy the beautiful hot springs at Rio Perlas Thermal Resort & Spa, and it was absolutely worth it! The pools were relaxing and well-maintained, and we also went on a scenic hike that made the experience even more special. One of the highlights was visiting the farm and getting to pet the animals—it added such a fun, unique touch. We had an amazing time overall and definitely plan to return when we’re back in Costa Rica!」

「The 'room' is an 18' x 24' open space with a 12' x 18' loft. Two twin beds upstairs with a private balcony. A King bed downstairs with a kitchenette. The space was elegant but not luxury. Simple but with character. The bathroom was a little small, but the water pressure was decent and the hot water was hot. But the real gem was the outdoor space. The hot tub was nice. The outdoor table and chairs were comfortable. But the view was perfection. We were half way up a mountain with an amazing view...

「Such a cute place tucked away in El Castillo! Beautiful views of Lake Arenal and the property is just absolutely beautiful! The guest house was very clean and well cared for, and they even gave us a welcome basket with some breakfast foods! They have everything you need to have a quiet, relaxing trip and stay in, or you are a half a mile from restaurants, etc.My only disappointment is that it was raining and I didn’t get to hear or see any howler monkeys that apparently are near the property.」
