“I like the service and location. Beautiful lodge!”

“This was the worst place we have stayed in 7 weeks of travelling. Tiny room. Double bed against the wall. Bedhead freestanding & moves every time you roll over. Tiny bathroom. No room for cases. In house restaurant closed the 3 nights we stayed. Had to travel 10 kms to find an evening meal. Advertises that it’s 25kms from Bilbao, when it was more like 35km. Extremely noisy from any activity in the passage. Cleaning staff rolling their trolley up & down the passage from a very early hour. Best……

“A disappointing experience - written by my husband who was the one who stays at this hotel Spent a night in the Artist Gran hotel of Arts on my way back from the Camino de Santiago. I do not know if it was because of my backpack and casual pilgrim dressing but from the start, the service was a bit arrogant. I booked a room with queen size bed (indicating preference on high floor), but was given a DOUBLE bed for 3rd floor. As for the view, Smart Inner View means facing the window of your……

“A really reallly nice hostel, each bed had its own lights and outlets. The cafe/lounge is very nice and breakfast is worth the 8 euro. Only downside is that noise travels quite easily through the building and there was a large group of teenagers having quite a lot of fun late into the night lol. Otherwise a great stay, staff are knowledgeable about the area and gave some good recommendations on pintxos. Also if you end up using the laundry... leave your clothes in the dryer for at least 2 hours”

“Clean and modern, well-appointed and everything worked. Excellent option for small family (although would have been small for 4 adults). Very easy to get to and from airport (located right by bus station) and major sites were accessible on foot. Area was fine during day (busy with open bars and shops) but felt a little quiet at night. Overall, a good option at less than price of family room in central location or paying for two rooms.”

“Bad service and accommodation for the price! For a new hotel the room is extremely badly designed. No socket for the kettle, constant buzzing sound from the electric box and poor drainage in the shower leading to a bad smell. Cleaning is also bad. Used toothpick found in the sink area and left there for four days. Mugs left unwashed. Coffee/amenities in the room not topped up. Breakfast is not worth the money and runs out of food at least an hour before breakfast is due to finish, staff very……
