「The room was like a fantasy - second floor balcony facing the ocean. Amazing!! The air conditioning did not work well, but we requested a fan and that helped. The staff was very kind, friendly & down to earth. The food was fantastic! All inclusive and we upgraded to the Sun Club, so worth it. Exclusive club room, beach and pools. Five star treatment. There were five restaurants and bars - food and drinks ready and available all day long, all included - NO WRIST BANDS. Truly a Paradise. Free...

「First solo trip I've ever taken. Went Tuesday-Friday. Was looking quiet and relaxed, and that's exactly what Avila was. The lagoon was beautiful. Food in both restaurants was good. I considered a meal plan but didn't need it. If you eat three whole meals a day, then maybe worth it. One thing, not a complaint though, I was waiting for wait staff to come around and take a drink order on the beach but couldn't find any. The QR code to order food/drink only worked if you had a credit card...
