The answer is the location. It is in an area of downtown that has not been gentrified, and considering the close proximity of the state subsidized housing it is somewhat unlikely it will be soon. We arrived after dark so navigating the dark parking lot and the 2 level concrete slab to gain access to the back door was challenging with luggage. Garage spot was occupied by another car in-spite of clear instructions from host that is was for two vehicles. We were able to easily find street parking. "This property sits in a quiet, safe neighborhood and an older home that seems to be a renovated 2nd floor/flat. It is extremely clean!! Everything was in working order. Beds were extremely comfortable. TV's were updated (one in the living, one in one of the bedrooms (not the master)). Even though one full bathroom, it is large and had enough space to spread out. "We were a group of four 60+ adults in town for a family reunion and had a good stay. The property was clean and spacious and generally as described. There was an inaccuracy in the listing regarding the number of bathrooms and a hot tub which did not exist. The owner was unaware of the inaccuracies and corrected the listing but offered no compensation until after I contacted VRBO."
