Nice place

It was a cute cozy home. The showers didn’t drain so you took a shower with the water at your ankles. But it was a cute place. Overall it was clean and cute.

Good Place

It was fairly clean, there was lots of pre-existing stains/wall damage, but nothing to unsightly or offending. My Biggest issue was the TV did not work in the living room and support said they would get to it when the can. so we had nothing to do in the living room late at night. Couldn't even hook up our laptops or netflix unit because the TV was missing a power cable.

Pick a different unit in complex

Many things not working. Couldn't reach anyone at Vacasa to assist. Outlets not working, lights burnt out, ice maker broken, cooking utensils non-existent, 3 forks, broken cups, dirty old carpet, doors hard to open, instructions to check-in were wrong, no contact info inside, 1 roll of paper towels, no beach towels, no remote for master bedroom or instructions on how to use anything there. Accommodations are dated (hence the price). If you can afford it, pick a different unit in the resort.

Could use a little sprucing up..

This trip was for my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter’s first beach trip. The plan was my husband and I would stay in the master and my daughter and son in law could have the other room. So, technically this place has 2 bedrooms but definitely NOT twin bunks. It was actually a toddler size day bed with a trundle. Luckily we had brought a queen air mattress which we set up in the living room. (We didn’t try the pull out). This condo would be perfect for a couple with small children. It could have been cleaner.The vacuum cleaner was full of dirt and fell apart when we tried to use it We wiped everything down with disinfectant wipes we had brought.

Old school, pass the buck

This was a great condo, perfect layout and space. Great balcony and view, comfortable living space, wonderful soaking tub and very user friendly kitchen with all the needed appliances and tools. Loved the decor and the pool area. We had pizza from the restaurant downstairs, Prime'd and it was good. Unfortunately, there were many technical issues with wifi. Because there are multiple building managers, we were sent on many wild goose chases with one party continually sending us to the other to work out issues. I spent many hours of time here on these issues. I had to go off site to Starbucks and McD's to use internet necessary for maintaining my business while away. If you are wanting a getaway disconnected from technology (the phones worked) then this is a great place. If you want to stay connected via internet to business, banking, food ordering, etc. this is not your place!!

Need updates asap!

Sorry, I’m not a kind of a person who complain about everything but this condo needs updates ASAP! The tvs are old, the dryer it’s difficult to put on, there where only two blankets and we were 5 persons, the carpet it’s really dirty, we found roaches in the bathroom and in the kitchen. Sorry but whoever it’s in charge of this condo MUST to take care better! People pays for a place to relax, a place to spend a nice days. It was not cheap but the feeling of the condo it was like a dirty old motel room.

Nice Condos!

Very nice, neat and clean condo! Our 13 year old baseball team stayed here for a World Series Tournament. The baseball field was walking distance, the team enjoyed the pool and we were able to do other things while here! We would definitely stay again!!

Great location and great pool

I rate it a 5 star the room was nice the only thing is I wish the TVs were more updated as in smart TVs if they would just change that it would be perfect!! The pool was really nice and overall we had a great stay !!

Great resort and location

The room and resort were perfect for our family (2 adults, kids 7, 3, and 2). The splash pad wasn’t on which was a bit of a disappointment. We originally purchased an early check-in, but our code didn’t become active until 4pm on the dot (same for the other 2 families across the hall who arranged with Vacasa) and after driving all night so the kids could sleep we arrived early and no where to go. Had I known this was Vacasa and not a true Vrbo I probably would have chosen another room within the property. The master bed was a little too firm. Also the trundle bed had clearly not been cleaned, but after our exhausting day just trying to get in the room we just cleaned it with Lysol wipes that we brought with us for an easy fix. We enjoyed the restaurant at the resort, the heated pool, and the easy walk to the beach, ice cream, restaurants. The public park with a playground and baseball diamonds was a bonus!

This was our first time in Destin and we loved the area. The Palms at Destin is a great resort, very kid friendly with wonderful pools and a great bar/restaurant. We rated our room with 3 stars. This particular room needs to be painted and the carpets need to be cleaned / shampooed. The laundry/ washer/dryer didn't seem to rinse appropriately and left brown marks on a lot of our clothes. Although we will be back to the Palms of Destin, we will most likely choose a different unit.

Will Stay Again

What you she in the pictures is exactly what you get. The condo was truly a home away from home. Clean and had essentials needed for a weekend stay. Within walking distance to beach, shops, and restaurants. A few minutes drive to Destination Commons for major shopping. Front desk staff was friendly and informed is where everything was located.

Pleasantly Surprised ❤️

It was our 1st time staying in Destin & we were hesitant with the status of COVID19 in FL. We searched several places to stay, but fell in love with the overall feel of “The Palms” ! After reading some of the “nightmare” reviews, I was nervous to even check in. Once there, the check-in process went incredibly smooth. We did have a minor hiccup with getting into our room (because of our inexperience with the coded locks), but once we got in... our little vaca getaway took off ! We loved the HUMONGOUS pool layout (having our grandson to have his own pool play area) ! We drove to Henderson Park for beach access & it was a nice layout as well ! Having the secure parking garage was a nice touch. We didn’t have time to explore the whole facility, but it all appeared to be in good condition & felt “clean” !?! The only thing that disappointed me was no coffee fixings (like a hotel would) ?!? Coffee maker was there, but... Anyway...I made it through ! 🤔👍🤩😇❤️
