“The cabin was very beautiful and relaxing”

“It is IN the woods, which is a bonus for me. The outhouse was clean, there’s two outhouses in 1 building. There was no one staying in the yurt across the driveway, so I was alone. Nice. The cabin was clean. It looks like they are adding a screen porch, which will help keep the bugs at bay if you want to just sit outside a while during bug time. There was a Solo fire pit with available wood, which I didn’t use. I love the back window in the cabin, watching the hummingbirds and other unusual birds……

“The location is ideal. The accommodations were as described, however, I would not review the toilet (outhouse) as super clean, as we had read on previous reviews. It was fine, but not exceptional. Just to reinforce, we were very glad we had a space heater for nights in the 40s and 50s. There is minimal wattage in the dome and so we had to keep the fan on low and did not dare raise the temp above 65°. It took the edge off. This is a great “primitive” experience. The dome is super cute. It could……

“Beautiful room and scenery. Host are very nice and reachable. Check in process is smooth and easy.”

“The property, the home and the host were wonderful. The house was just beautiful and had great lake views from the back windows. the lake was just a short walk out the back door. We were a family of 5 and dogs staying and everything was stocked in the kitchen so we could eat our meals there instead of restaurants. The walking paths nearby were great. Checkin and checkout were easy. Love this place!”

“The pictures posted accurately represent the property. We’ve stayed in many VRBO’s throughout the North Shore. The positives:Location location location! Walking distance to everything in town. Comfortable beds Shower with great water pressure and spacious bathroom Negatives:This is a multiunit house and you can hear others walking above as well as below. The furniture in living room could use some updating- the couch is quite uncomfortable and you can feel the springs sticking into you as you sit……

“It is a beautiful place. The views are spectacular. There were some minor issues that were addressed by the owner. It also was quiet.”

“Family winter getaway. Spectacular views and great location on the upper part of the north shore. Loft is really great with bunk beds having limited room and access to the top bunk. Was a tight fit for our teenagers. Be prepared for morning sun in addition to moonlight. Special place in a special location.”
