“If it weren’t for the kindness of the host, who accommodated us for an early check-in and late checkout, I would’ve given this zero stars. It’s totally rundown, looks like it hasn’t been power washed in 20 years, as soon as you walk up it smells like mold. The listing doesn’t tell you that it’s on a main street. The inside has rotting walls with actual holes, you can smell the mold and in one of the bedrooms it smelled so toxic like cat urine and chemicals - no one could sleep in there. The……

“Room was fine. It was an upstairs room. It was a bit confusing when we got there cause there’s a gate that looks private but the host came out and walked us in. I’ve always done a self check in and was advised I would be doing so here so it was a bit off putting, but she was very nice. It was weird when she mentioned the downstairs neighbor being a bit of a grumpy old man. He was nice to us, but was very much outside in everyone’s business. Nice to watch the sunset on the dock. The water is……

“The place was clean and well equipped and Mo was very responsive and made stay as pleasant as possible.”

“At 4am the tenant from the connected house(which we didn't know about) was blaring on her hornin the road out front yelling to move out vehicles. She threatened to tow our vehicles and block us in. The night before, I tried to contact the host to find out where we were supposed to park. And he never got back to us. There was hair on the wall and the bathroom and one of the coffee cups and drinking glass had grime and coffee all over it. The blanket that was draped over the back of the couch……

“We had an incredible stay at Casa del Lago and can't wait to return! The view was absolutely beautiful and mesmerizing! The hot tub under the stars was wonderful! We had a question about the hot tub and Colton was responsive and eased our concern. Everything was clean and just as described in the pics and info provided. ”

“Very nice. Home was very clean and well furnished. It had everything we needed and a lot of extras too! Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook and serve meals. All we had to bring was food and clothes. Parking was convenient . The private dock and back yard was beautiful and a lot of fun.”

“Good seeing you. Had a good time with my cousin. I'll be back next year, staying next door with the balcony. The kitchen could use a big bowl for big food like a salad. Thanks. ”

“The pros are that the lake house is pretty much as described. It was lovely to hear the waves crashing against the wall. It was really neat to see the deer come down the hill. The cons are that the adult kayaks were not here, the lake is so consumed with algae we weren’t able to go into the lake. The grills were so dirty that we were not able to use them. It was a lovely day however I feel like we overpaid for the experience. The host was kind and responsive.”

“It was a quaint country house. The host was attentive, but also left us to ourselves. The house was clean. A/C worked well. It was very comfortable.”
