"Beautiful resort with great views. Nice pool, bars and restaurants. Clean and newly renovated. Comfy beds. Only negative was the staff at the front desk. We arrived at 415 and a room wasnt available. They didnt care. Didnt offer anything for us to do but sit there with all of our stuff. Then pretended like we werent there. Another negative experience with the same woman the next day when we asked for champagne glasses. Told us to try the bar. She clearly doesnt want to be working in the hospitality business. Similar experience with a different woman when checking out. Servers at the bar and restaurant were all great though."

"I stayed at the Gables Poolside King Suite. It was nice to be down the street, next to the pool, in the quieter area. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance from the ferry and shops, dining, etc. "

"Spectacular view of the ocean from our 2nd floor room with balcony. The extra sitting space with ocean view was especially appreciated. There is a beautiful large lawn in front of the hotel which gave some families a perfect place to play and fly kites. Great location near Narragansett Town Beach. "

"We stayed there for the Newport Jazz Festival. The hotel doesn't look fancy on the outside but once you are inside, it gives a little bit of posh and whimsy. The staff is really friendly however there is limited staff during quietier times (before 8am etc...). The restaurant is pretty good and the bartenders are really on top of things. We enjoyed our room which faced the pool. Enjoyable stay. "

"Super cute place! Clean, big room, with little balcony to have our coffee. Outdoor heated pool and restaurant on site. Nice little trail to the pond. Quick drive to beach. We would definitely stay here again! "

"The stay was very nice. The staff was friendly. It's in a nice area of town. My only complaint is that the name of the hotel in not on the front of the hotel making it difficult to find."

"Nice room and location. The only negative thing I could say is that sometimes it was difficult to get out of the parking lot onto the main road. But I didn't find out until after my stay that there is a back way out."
