「Price Paid via Expedia excluded breakfast. This was NOT made clear on Expedia website The price paid was identical to the normal room price INCLUDING breakfast charged by the hotel. We, therefore, were charged £29.90 for a service we were denied because of Expedia. Room lacked a fridge.」

「This Inn is a olde style building with wooden beams in the bedrooms etc. As such with this type of building there are low ceilings and hardly a straight wall anywhere. We found that our room although quaint wasn’t spotless as other places we’ve stayed. One of the two window blinds didn’t work, we couldn’t get it to drop down. Not a huge issue as the other blind did close. The biggest issue for us was that one of the two electric fans in the room was so dirty that if you had switched it on the...

「Lovely pub/restaurant with rooms in a picturesque small village. We had a great dinner and the service throughout our stay was fantastic (thank you Matthew). I wasn’t aware this was part of a chain at the time of booking but I shall be looking out for Butcombe Pubs in future.」

「The room was clean and spacious with a great view of the garden . The hotel itself needs some updating , blown windows peeling paint work in the bar reception area .The staff were polite and professional even though they were obviously understaffed ! Well done Ben you were excellent at your job . Keeping everyone served whilst also checking guests in .
