「This hotel has the potential to be a brilliant place to stay but it needs a serious refurb in its current state. Arriving, the entrance and lobby were well maintained and nicely decorated however, entering the first floor you notice the office like false ceiling. This continues through the corridors and into the rooms. Loosing roughly 18 inches of ceiling height makes the rooms feel much smaller and gives quite a cheap characterless feel to the room. 「Hotel is in an excellent location. The outside swimming pool ,gate access to the beach, and the outside veranda were excellent amenities. Breakfast was very good, with a varied choice. For a 4 star hotel, the decor could have been a bit better. Our bedroom was quite small, extremely hot ( no air conditioning - just a fan ) and wasn't hoovered when we arrived. I appreciate it wasn't one of the upgraded front rooms with view of the water, but could have been much better for a 4 star hotel.」

「Stayed here as needed to stay in or around Weymouth. Quite frankly, the fee paid for the room was poor value. The hotel was clean, but dated. The rooms need renewing. That said, all the hotels in Weymouth were extremely expensive so it wasn’t anymore than any of the others, which is why I ended up staying here anyway… not sure if there was an event or something in the area at that time pushing up prices…」
