“Lovely clean property with friendly, helpful staff right on the beach”

“I chose a budget room which was £144 per night. I stayed two nights over the Bank Holiday heatwave . There was a brick wall outside my window and only two of the windows would open a maximum of 3 inches. The bathroom window did not open and the fan was not working. It was wretched in the heat. You have to have the light on to see even in daylight. I was given a very basic fan . I asked to change my room the next day. It was inhumane to expect anyone to be in a room with no ventilation in that……

“located in the small downtown Lyme Regis, easy to go to the beach, shops and restaurants it is an very old inn, very tradition english wooden building, downstair is the bar and restaurant, a bit oily smell, beware of no air-con”

“Have just enjoyed a fantastic stay in a 6 berth caravan. Really clean and comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen. Large TV in the lounge area. Amenities on site are great and particularly enjoyed the well equipped gym and the sauna and jacuzzi. The cycle routes in the area are also amazing and I am looking forward to returning in the near future.”

“We did enjoy our stay at Harbour Heights, although parts of the hotel feel a little tired and in need of some updating. Unfortunately, some members of staff could also benefit from further customer service training, as at times we felt more like an inconvenience than valued guests. The terrace and the view are absolutely stunning and were definitely the highlight of our stay. However, it was disappointing that guests were not allowed to have meals on the terrace, and there was no waiter service……

“We booked two rooms while walking the coast path. Neither room had a working shower. Both produced boiling hot water that would burn.All we were offered was the use of another shower in an outside building. We declined. Tired building and the Manager uninterested in offering any support or refund. He just told us the rooms were due to be updated! My advice..Go somewhere else. ”

“Lovely clean and tidy hotel. The rooms look refurbished and were spotless. We had the family room which was bigger than we were expecting. Two separate bedrooms and a bathroom. The staff were pleasant. Parking plentiful. Breakfast (eggs, hash browns, beans, sausages, bacon etc.) was included. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants/shops. Perfect for our stay.”

“The overall stay at Purbeck House was okay. We had a very interesting mini tour with Alex. Our room was on two levels and very spacious . It would have benefitted from some artwork on the walls. Also, a proper bathmat. I nearly slipped over getting out of the bath as the textured surface is small. The shower gel bottles are a waste of time. They are very small and it was difficult to actually squeeze the gel out. Considering the price I would have expected bottled water. There was a wedding on……

“Great location. Plenty of safe parking . The bedroom was a good size and well equipped. ”

“It was truly magical place, starting with location ending with breakfast, which was super duper tasty.. Room was clean, bedding clean, bed comfortable. Staff very helpful and polite. We had no CV with us, for the interview.. Girl did help us out, did print one, massive thank u to her, still owning a chocolate for that 🙈 The atmosphere was very nice, place with positive only vibes.. Place to comeback for sure.. 😊”

“We really enjoyed our 5 day stay at the Hotel, our standard room was of a very generous size, much bigger than a lot of hotels which was very pleasing. The Hotel throughout was spotlessly clean, and the food was excellent, the staff were very helpful, and the cost was very reasonable, there was always plenty of parking spaces in the car park, and we will definitely visits again, the Hotel exceeded our expectations.”
