“Large multi storey hotel with limited lift service (one of the two was out of service). Breakfast was good. Access to the car park was tricky as the card scanner was too close to the doors when driving in.”

“located in the small downtown Lyme Regis, easy to go to the beach, shops and restaurants it is an very old inn, very tradition english wooden building, downstair is the bar and restaurant, a bit oily smell, beware of no air-con”

“The Haven is in a wonderful position at the entrance to to Poole Harbour. Staff are welcoming and friendly, the rooms are comfortable and the whole hotel is clean. Did not eat there this trip but only because the are some many restaurants to try locally in and around Poole.”

“Poor. Bed was not made up in room, bin full and room not ready. it was corrected and staff apologized. Rooms are hard to find and lifts are small and do not work properly! Housekeeping knocked on door early followed by maintenance which was not urgent and could have been done after checkout time. ”

“Lovely clean and tidy hotel. The rooms look refurbished and were spotless. We had the family room which was bigger than we were expecting. Two separate bedrooms and a bathroom. The staff were pleasant. Parking plentiful. Breakfast (eggs, hash browns, beans, sausages, bacon etc.) was included. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants/shops. Perfect for our stay.”

“Not really 4 star by its standards. If not for the amazing view this hotel could not command the prices that it does. restaurant menu very limited, staff in restaurant do not attend very promptly to tyhe tables. Decor is tired, room OK but bathroom poor.”

“A clean quiet hotel in a good location about 15 minutes walk along the promenade from the centre of Swanage. Staff are very helpful. Serves breakfast and dinner and has a spa in the basement and pleasant beer garden right above the beach. The parking is very limited and the only other downside is that the bed is one of the least comfortable (/older?) that I have slept in.”

“We booked two rooms while walking the coast path. Neither room had a working shower. Both produced boiling hot water that would burn.All we were offered was the use of another shower in an outside building. We declined. Tired building and the Manager uninterested in offering any support or refund. He just told us the rooms were due to be updated! My advice..Go somewhere else. ”
