“Excellent position. Staff very good. I would say a little overpriced. Property is a bit tired & in need of some renovation.”

“Great location right at the water’s edge. Property could do with painting here and there and the bathroom taps needed some attention. Water pressure was low so shower was not great. Fire alarm went off twice in the early hours of the first day and it took the staff ages to get the alarm light to go out in our room.”

“The breakfast, staff and downstairs communal areas were very good. However, bearing in mind the price for overnight stays we found the room and room facilities were far below average for this class/cost of hotel. The room had a harbour view which was excellent but this said the actual room and facilities felt very 'tired', in need of an update and lacking certain facilities that other hotels in this price range would normally have. No walk-in shower which meant using the shower in the bath which……

“Liked the proximity to the beach and for walking into town. Bus stops close by. Would have liked a fridge in the room, not the cool box that was provided as it was inadequate. Great stay, staff were very friendly, restaurant was decent. Would probably stay at the Rembrandt again.”

“located in the small downtown Lyme Regis, easy to go to the beach, shops and restaurants it is an very old inn, very tradition english wooden building, downstair is the bar and restaurant, a bit oily smell, beware of no air-con”

“Price Paid via Expedia excluded breakfast. This was NOT made clear on Expedia website The price paid was identical to the normal room price INCLUDING breakfast charged by the hotel. We, therefore, were charged £29.90 for a service we were denied because of Expedia. Room lacked a fridge.”

“Heel slechte bedden, er lagen wolken van stof onder banken en bedden, koelkast werkte maar net helemaal vol met ijs, moest eerst ontdooid worden. Geen infomap in het huisje hoe alles werkt. Badkamer vies stonk naar het riool.”

“So lovely here the hotel is great all staff are so lovely will defo return next time i will ask for a bath in the bathroom as i did struggle with shower as i have disabilities but it was 2 late for me to get a room like that but thats my fault not theirs.The restaurant in there is on point had a lush steak n garlic mushrooms also crumble for pudding also was lovely and the breakfast was also fab the staff work hard in there and got to say prices at the bar are the best ever and we played bingo……
