“The hotel is dated and tired beyond the public spaces. Friendly staff. Good location onto the beach. Good breakfast. Pool area very unappealing. Be aware the harbour view room also looks over the large car park.”

“The Haven is situated in an enviable position however the overall impression of the hotel comes across as quite tired and a little dated. The shower was very poor with a weak stream going from hot to cold. We were woken in the morning at 6.30 to the very noisy laundry lorry collecting and dropping off. To add to this our sleep had already been interrupted due to the fire alarm going off at midnight, no fire but unexplained. Staff were polite and dealt with a housekeeping issue efficiently. ……

“The breakfast, staff and downstairs communal areas were very good. However, bearing in mind the price for overnight stays we found the room and room facilities were far below average for this class/cost of hotel. The room had a harbour view which was excellent but this said the actual room and facilities felt very 'tired', in need of an update and lacking certain facilities that other hotels in this price range would normally have. No walk-in shower which meant using the shower in the bath which……

“located in the small downtown Lyme Regis, easy to go to the beach, shops and restaurants it is an very old inn, very tradition english wooden building, downstair is the bar and restaurant, a bit oily smell, beware of no air-con”

Staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable and it was a perfect location to explore the Jurassic Coast and it's historical gems. Will definitely go back.”

“Really well situated for the Poole Harbour area. The quay is about a one minute walk and there are many bars and restaurants with a 5 minute walk. The hotel itself is in a charming old property and has a lovely outdoor terrace area for eats and drinks”

“So lovely here the hotel is great all staff are so lovely will defo return next time i will ask for a bath in the bathroom as i did struggle with shower as i have disabilities but it was 2 late for me to get a room like that but thats my fault not theirs.The restaurant in there is on point had a lush steak n garlic mushrooms also crumble for pudding also was lovely and the breakfast was also fab the staff work hard in there and got to say prices at the bar are the best ever and we played bingo……
