“The breakfast, staff and downstairs communal areas were very good. However, bearing in mind the price for overnight stays we found the room and room facilities were far below average for this class/cost of hotel. The room had a harbour view which was excellent but this said the actual room and facilities felt very 'tired', in need of an update and lacking certain facilities that other hotels in this price range would normally have. No walk-in shower which meant using the shower in the bath which……

“located in the small downtown Lyme Regis, easy to go to the beach, shops and restaurants it is an very old inn, very tradition english wooden building, downstair is the bar and restaurant, a bit oily smell, beware of no air-con”

“A charming hotel, with stunning views, beautifully positioned overlooking the bay and conveniently to town, all its amenities and local transport. Staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable and it was a perfect location to explore the Jurassic Coast and it's historical gems. Will definitely go back.”

“So lovely here the hotel is great all staff are so lovely will defo return next time i will ask for a bath in the bathroom as i did struggle with shower as i have disabilities but it was 2 late for me to get a room like that but thats my fault not theirs.The restaurant in there is on point had a lush steak n garlic mushrooms also crumble for pudding also was lovely and the breakfast was also fab the staff work hard in there and got to say prices at the bar are the best ever and we played bingo……

“We were initially given a tiny room on the top floor with no viewout , which was not what we paid for ,Toilet not clean . We were then offered a better room , lovely view out but on closer inspection the curtain linings were ripped , headboard filthy , Mark on the bedsheets and an unwashed bathtowel plus the bathroom Very noisy plumbing and no HOT water so had a cold shower . No complaints about the staff or Food but the general cleanliness of the lounge furniture and the sticky tables ……
