“Rooms spacious and clean. Staff at reception was very helpful. Couldn't thank the lady enough. Was disappointed that the restaurant next door was permanently closed as we had booked thinking we would have meals and drinks there.”

“Excellent simple accommodation with shared bathroom. Extremely clean, warm and relatively quiet (for an old building). No notification of door key code as promised but staff resident so no issues with 21:00 check-in. Would definitely stay again.”

“Staff all very good. I had a problem with the toilet seat and they fixed it during the day while I was out. Food and drinks service good. No noise in my room from the wedding party. Only issue for me was the room window was very small and high up in the wall, so I couldn’t see out, and the sky light had no covering, so being Scotland, I had daylight from 5:30am waking me up. Not the worst problem in the world. Wonderful park like location, and again, all the staff were wonderful.”

“If you are looking for a roof over your head then its adequate. staff at check in. Room was clean with mould in the bathroom. Carpets very old. Curtain was hanging had to put it up properly to close them. All in all you get what you paid for.”
