「Definitely not worth the price we paid ($130/night). The staff was nice, but how do you not have a commercial icemaker on site. We had no ice for the entirety of the stay and nothing was offered to help make up for it. Kind of insane considering it is a hotel practically on the beach, but doesn’t offer ice. There was also a weird vibration sound that could be heard in our room that kept me awake. We stayed here four years ago and had a vastly different experience. Not sure what has changed...

「The room was clean and very convenient to downtown Apalachicola. The only major issues were that the AC did not work the entire time of our stay and we were locked out of the main entrance. We reported the AC problem and never received a call back or response. The digital lock had to be reset and finally we were able to access our room to check out.」

Had 3 sleepless nights because of guests and what they called children running around worse than animals above us. Called multiple times to change rooms or have them quiet them down. 「I enjoyed my stay at the Franklin Inn. Coming back into Carrabelle during the July 4th holiday to visit family friends/ god-kids and to move out of my previous studio was a lot but thankfully The Franklin Inn made the beginning of my leg of the trip easy and comfortable. Thank you!」

「Although the property is old, it is well-maintained. The room had a slight musty odor when we opened the door , but after running the A/C for an hour or so, the odor was pretty much gone. However, the room was clean and comfortable. The staff were wonderful..very accommodating and helpful.」

「It’s an old house and very well maintained it may be warmer than a new hotel but the overall experience makes up for it. Room was clean,the inn keeper was very helpful. And the house was quiet had convenient parking. Had a great time and definitely plan on going back.」

「This was our first time staying in their condos. We have stayed in their villas and they were clean and we had no problem but this condo was a different story! Let’s start with the horrible rotten smell walking to the elevator. Got to the room and the condo was lacking cleanliness to say the least. No dish soap in kitchen. No trash bags. Garbage can was running over and no bag to replace it with. Only one extra roll of toilet for 3 bathrooms. The body wash and conditioner in the shower...
