"Freehand met and exceeded expectations for our weekend trip. We stayed in a double bunk bed room and were extremely pleased with the space, cleanliness, and the size of the bathroom. Having the additional hooks for our group at the entrance to the room was especially helpful and the outlets for each bed was a great bonus! The rooftop bar was also a delight to discover with the amazing skyline views and comfortable decor. We all agreed that the true star was the ability to go to the lobby or front desk and grab a complementary water bottle even late night, simple but outstanding customer service! Definitely recommend this hotel for the overall experience and will return! "

"I didn't get up early enough for coffee, but with five coffee options within a block - it didn't matter. Rooms feel spacious for NYC, soft linens, good water pressure in shower, each room a little unique. The bar downstairs is expensive, but the drinks were top notch. "
