This was my first time booking through Vrbo, and I unknowingly planned my trip during the Fringe, when hotel prices in Edinburgh were sky-high. I was pleasantly surprised to find such an affordable listing.The host was very responsive from the moment I booked. The flat was clean, in a great location right behind The Caledonian, and within a 20-minute walk of just about everything. The only time I needed public transportation was to and from the airport.The washer/dryer combo is quite small and takes some time, and I initially thought there wasn’t a full-length mirror, only to discover one in the wardrobe later on. The flat had everything I needed. My only suggestion would be to provide a fan, since there’s no AC. I was never uncomfortably warm, but a fan would have been a nice option.As a solo female traveler, I also want to note that I felt completely safe here throughout my stay. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this place.
