This was a last minute booking due to the Dutch rail strike which meant staying in Eindhoven instead of our original booking in Sittard. Just off the main centre so it was quiet even with the bar next door. Being upgraded was a bonus!

This was a quick overnight as we had an early trip. Hotel La Reine is in walking distance of the city center and has many stores and eating places in it's surroundings.

Beds were comfy, air-co worked, lift worked, convenient location, car drop off spot, off-site parking options, candy in front office, good for sleeping. No in-room coffee or tea, no fridge.

The first room we were given was very dirty mainly the carpet but also someone had been smoking in the room and it stank of cigarettes we were given another room which was a lot cleaner. The hotel whilst it is clean is very tired and would benefit from a little talc. The rooms could do with painting a lighter colour to brighten them up. Can’t fault the staff really lovely and very helpful. Just seemed very basic for the money

Comfy but dirty bed

Hotel needs updating and thoroughly cleaning. Bed was comfortable but sheets dirty, and mattress even worse. Windows did not lock and kept blowing open. Tea and coffee facilities are not in the room but in the foyer and are charged for. Too many stains in the bedrooms to count - floor, walls, doors and beds. Only redeeming feature was the shower.
