「Veronica is very nice and helpful during our stay there. The location is very convenient to the restaurants we like and all sight seeing spots are all in walking distance. The only drawback is no elevator inside the building so if you are not travelling with a strong guy and with heavy suitcase, you will have to reconsider the larger suite here as mine is the smallest which is on the top floor. 😞」

「The staff were the absolute best part! So friendly and accommodating. We didn't realize that the hotel has a 2-star Michelin restaurant~ had we known, we would have made plans and booked in advance! As it was, the breakfast and normal dinner restaurant (the Bistro) were amazing. The location is pretty out of the way, but this hotel made it worthwhile.」

The house is beautifully restored with so much character and the room we were staying in was rustic and beautiful with a high ceiling and beautiful view of the Promenade. 「We loved the eclectic decor and the garden. We had a bedroom with an attached lounge. Unfortunately due to water damage we could not use the lounge.This did impact our stay with reduced space. The owners were apologetic but their misfortune affected our stay with the use of space. The breakfast and location were great. Overall our stay was impacted with the odour of the flooded room drifting into our sleeping space. Despite apologies from the owners no further compensation or consideration was...
