“Position of house was very good although there was no parking which is inconvenient. The furniture is old and very tatty The central heating didn't work terribly well. We enjoyed our stay, there is lots of space but feel the place need some decorating and some newer furnishings ”

“Had a lovely stay at The Globe while in Topsham for the evening. The room was lovely and cosy, and although we didn't eat in the pub we did have a couple of drinks and it was a very nice lively place. Would stay again.”

“I really like the people that run it ...you can have a laugh and a joke and their professional. I love the quirky old fashioned styling but it's done in a modern way. The menu seemed basic but the quality of the food was fantastic everybody should try the prawns starter !!! Two dislikes Coffee machine in room too small difficult to use. The noise of extractor fans outside the windows was a constant drone but okay if you're used to noise and not from the quiet countryside. I'm definitely going……

“We have stayed here before and always had a great stay. Easy free parking and easy to get to the town and beach through the beautiful gardens. Our room was spacious and very comfortable with a lovely window area to sit at and enjoy the view. Bed was very comfortable and plenty storage space if you were staying a while. Evening meal was very tasty as was the breakfast. Bar was well stocked and reasonably priced for a hotel. Will definitely return. ”
