Two negatives were the dog smell in the lounge and poor state of plants in pots. While the dog smell is probably unavoidable as dogs are allowed, the dead plants brought about a depressing impression. "I did not expect my stay at Exmouth Beach Hotel to be as good as it was. I was impressed with what I got for what I paid. Very affordable. Right on the beach front. Close to shops and dining. Nice cozy room with very comfortable bed. The staff was courteous. As I was waiting for a ride after checkout, they permitted me to wait in the lobby. A very nice stay. Would definitely recommend!"

"Lovely place, just out of the town centre. Craig was really welcoming on arrival.
I stayed in the Oak room which was clean, spacious and comfortable. It had a nice big bathroom area with a rainfall walk in shower.
Free parking was off the road in front of the building.
