“Our stay at The Queen’s Head was absolutely fantastic. The rooms are spacious, much bigger than the photos suggest, with super-comfy beds. They’re set quietly at the back, away from pub noise, so you can enjoy a peaceful rest indoors or outside. The pub itself has a cosy, authentic old British vibe.
The real highlight is the food — beyond excellent. Every dish bursts with flavour and care. As Indians, we were amazed by how perfectly balanced and delicious the British food was. Portions are……

“The room is comfortable and perfect for one person. The staff are helpful and friendly, and the hotel is conveniently located near the train station. However, a downside is the lack of a lift to the room, so light luggage is recommended. It would also be an improvement to have a desk and chair in the room.”
