“We are not resortish people and this was a great alternative. everything we needed was in walking distance or short drive. Nights were peaceful and we enjoyed the privacy of the pool and hot tub. The odd plane flying over when the winds were rarely in that direction was actually quite a site rather than annoyance. Jomo looked after a couple of requests immediately. Thanks for a great stay.”

“Staying at Sammy’s home was a life-changing experience. The entire property is spectacular; phenomenal views, the enchanting sounds of the coqui frogs and passing rain, and surrounded by nature’s beauty. The house is well stocked and beautifully renovated with moments around every corner to be appreciated. Watching the sunset from the pool and hot tub was the perfect way to end a long day of adventures. Far better than staying in a hotel. Best Vrbo rental and host…we will return for sure!”

“The apartment is so lovely and Hannah is the most thoughtful hosts imaginable. Even discussing the import of orchids to the US with me, and putting me in direcct touch with her brother who does it often. Every detail is thoughtful, and it was cleaner than just about any room (hotel or homestay) I have ever been in. Lovely decor, great location near downtown Hilo, while being quiet and peaceful except for the sound of the river, the rain (it is Hilo) and the frogs. Thank you Hannah and I will……

“We had a great stay here, the hot tub and pool were great, lots of toys and things for our kids to play with in the pool. The house was amazing right from the attached garage to park in to the pool table and bedrooms, i would highly recommended staying here. I talked to the property owner and asked if there was a pack and play for our baby to sleep in, he said no but he ended up buying one just for us. Great service altogether.”
