「I was disappointed in the smell of the room which triggered my mold-mildew allergies, it was strong. The view was nice. What evened out the rough night was that in the morning deer were around, and I fed one an apple. This was a great experience and it offset the room smell. I would not choose this place again however.」

「Good location on the waterfront and a block or three away from restaurants and shops. Staff was welcoming, and they are very pet-friendly (for a fee). Loses a point because we couldn't find an emergency number to report a clogged toilet on a Sunday morning.」

The carpet looks like it has never been vacuum or cleaned properly. The TV had issue turning on. We had to manually reset the TV for it to work. The carpets and walls in the hallways look outdated. All of our previous hotels allow us to check in early, they told us check in was at 3pm.」

It’s conveniently close to grocery stores and restaurants, and not too far from the state park. The only thing I didn’t like was the breakfast—two of the containers were empty with nothing much to eat, and no one came to refill them. So we went out for breakfast nearby. 」
