“Dear Hotel Management,
I am writing to complain about a wrongful, unexplained charge of $700 at check-out.
I had already pre-paid $600 for my room online. At check-in, staff only mentioned an extra $200 would be required. But upon check-out, I was charged $700 with no reason or itemized breakdown provided.
This is misleading and unprofessional. I demand that you immediately clarify what the $700 covers, reverse any incorrect charge, and issue a full refund for the overpayment.
