“I usually stay beachfront, but I will now stay here with my family!! Everything is brand new. Some units connect via the laundry center, so family can walk between each unit without going outside! Love the decor! Kids loved the bikes & rode all over. Even though you have to walk a bit to the beach it’s not that bad & they had backpack chairs. I could go on & on, but FABULOUS!!”

“The property was a studio style space tucked away in an area close to the lighthouse beach end of the island. I enjoyed the space and especially having a bike. For the first few days I smelled an unpleasant water smell coming from the bathroom but the more I used the kitchen sink it seemed to dissipate. I could have used a bit more towels as they were not stored on site and kitchen tools as I planned on prepping about half the meals. Overall it was very quiet. It reminded me of an upscale……

“The cottage was quite unique being located directly behind the owners residence in a neighborhood. The unit was perfect for my wife and I during our 2 night stay. It was clean and well appointed with everything you would need for your stay. The decor was beachy and appeared to be professionally done. The grounds outside the cottage was very nice with multiple sitting area’s to enjoy cocktails or coffee. The 2 rocking chairs were a nice touch and relaxing while enjoying beverages in the morning……

“It was typical Florida HOT! Location and Cottage was GREAT. I do have one suggestion for you. I am 6'2" 280 and the shower in #2 Sandpiper was small. If you expand the shower to fit the walk-in area it would work out a lot better. I enjoyed the cottage and area a lot. The other people that stayed in the others at the same time were also a pleasure to have around as well. Get to know you neighbors. “I wanted to get as close as I could to Bowman’s Beach and Blind Pass to go shell collecting. For the price this was a gem. I was able to do my daily walks at 5am collecting shells and be back for breakfast/brunch with my husband. Couldn’t walk on the beach to Blind Pass, have to walk on bike trail. So if you’re interested in shell collecting this spot was very good. You get a beach pass to park at the Trade Winds parking lot which was empty most of the time. “Property was very clean. Great location close to Captiva and Sanibel. Bathroom was nice and clean. Only complaints: 1. Beach Parking Pass is ONLY for use on the property’s beach access. I wish this was more clearly stated on the room literature as we found this out the hard way! $150 parking ticket! 2. The bed is awful. Not very comfortable at all. That’s about it.
