"We stayed overnight to increase our chances of seeing Mt. Fuji. Sure enough, we had a stunning view of Mt. Fuji the next morning after all the rain and clouds straight from the balcony. It was a suite and very comfortable. A shuttle to the Kawaguchiko station is also available. "

"A lovely respite from the busy lake town where it was very crowded. Quiet and peaceful with calming environment and wonderful view of lake. Great location for hiking up to Tenjoyama Park with fabulous views of the lake and Mount Fuji. They could invest in an easier walk up the driveway to the hotel as it is very steep and could be considered moderately difficult. "

"Overall a good choice to visit fuji. Great views and friendly helpful staff. The location is a bit remote and a car is advisable. 4th room was large enough for a family and views from room are good. Food is reasonably good but set menu style so works only if you are flexible on diet options. Hotel style is unique, a bit rustic and less modern but is ok and they have free wine every evening."
