"We had to quick trip to Rockhill for a swim meet but found this beautiful property right on the lake. The host was very responsive and helpful and the house was perfect. We hope to come back soon when it is a little warmer to enjoy it more but that didn’t stop my son from jumping off the dock into the freezing lake. 😁 we would highly recommend this property!"

"We enjoyed the cute little lake house. The weather kept us in for a few days but loved the decks, hot tub, grill, and firepit when we could dodge the rain. The kitchen was stocked to cook in, beds were comfy, nicely decorated. The area is peaceful and quiet. Missing the sounds of birds, ducks, and the grey horned owl family up in the pine tree."

"I stayed with a group of 6 girlfriends for a very low-key bachelorette weekend. The house was absolutely perfect - we got some great beach/dock time in when it was sunny, and when it rained, we played games on the huge second floor screened in porch. House was pristine and adorable. We didn’t get to use the boats, but they were there if we wanted them. Highly recommend this house for small to medium group get togethers!"

"We chose the Azaela Cottage b/c our daughter was holding her wedding 3 doors down. But it was perfect for the parents of the bride. Far enough away from all the wedding shenanigans, but close enough we could easily help w/anything required. B/c we were there for an occasion, we didn't get to experience all the cottage/lake amenities, but it was still a lovely place to unwind & enjoy our time away from home. Would love to stay again & see more of the area."

"This little house was so clean and well equipped. They thought of things that I wouldn’t have thought of and made sure we had everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable. It was located about eight minutes from the Whitewater center. The host was very kind and communicated easily. We would stay here again!"

"We came for a weekend trip to go to the Oyster & Wine Festival in Charlotte and found this cute cottage on Lake Wylie to stay at. The house sits at the end of a street with very nice homes on either side. The parking area is circular which was nice since we had 2 vehicles with us. The home itself is nice and cozy, has a "lake vibe", was clean and had plenty of kitchen things and a coffee maker. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again. "I enjoyed the location of this property and the responsiveness of the host. However, all the good pictures of the house are in the post. The floor was soft, the bathroom door had been kicked in at some point and didn’t even shut. There were holes in the ceiling from a previous leak, etc. I hope there is a place on this app that I can add the pics that I took"

"Perfect set up for a relaxing family lake vacation. The house was lovely and spacious. We ate outside on the deck as much as possible. And enjoyed the fire pit at night. Lots of amenities especially the boat dock with kayaks and paddle boards. The pool was relaxing and a nice way to refresh after a morning boat excursion. Teri was very prompt in communicating with us and we appreciated that."

"What a beautiful property to stay and relax and celebrate our daughter graduating from college. We were a Family of 10 coming from Florida, Virginia and Georgia. To be all together in a beautiful home with the lake and activities vs staying in a typical hotel setting - was so much more enjoyable! We loved our time together as a family! Good location, better for couples than families.
"The place was a great location to walk all over town. We got in late (we had a layover in Charlotte). The room was very spacious and clean. Breakfast was good with lots of options. They held our luggage during the next day so we could explore the city after checkout, which was great. Our issues were that We specifically booked a hotel with a restaurant and pool. The restaurant is more of a club - people all all dressed up and the music is super loud and you would need a reservation. We were told 1.5 hour wait, at least, and we were starving at 10 pm after a day of traveling. Further, it didn’t seem like a family friendly place, more of a date spot. Additionally the pool was closed for the season. Our stay was fine but I don’t think it is for families and as other reviews said, one elevator was broken and check in is on the 10th floor so if both were out of order, it would be very problematic. The one elevator worked great for our stay."
