“This was such a beautiful property! The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were top notch. Everything was very laid back and relaxed. We traveled with 2 small children and weren’t made to feel like they were a burden or a nuisance by any guests or staff. We didn’t get to enjoy the spa services due to the kids but we’ll definitely be back for an adult-only trip to take advantage of them. “Our annual Maine visit to York Beach with stay at Stones Throw. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the view of the beach are extraordinary. I left an electric car charging connector there attached to the Tesla charger. They retrieved it for me and made arrangements to ship it to me. Their restaurant is excellent too.”

“I can’t comment on the staff because their check-in just requires you to use your phone number to access the building and your room but the hotel was excellent. The rooms have no outside noise so if you’re a light sleeper, it’s the perfect spot. I got into Portsmouth long before my check-in time so I parked in a nearby garage which ended up costing the same amount that the hotel charges ($40/nt). You’re a block away from all the shops and restaurants and a short walk to Badger’s Island in Maine……
