「This property was very comfortable and well appointed. The first thing I noticed was that the room smelled really good when I walked in - not at all overpowering but really soothing and pleasant. I would absolutely stay here again as a solo traveler, but I would have been more comfortable if I'd been able to lock the room door from the inside, as is typical with hotels. I don't like to leave my safety when traveling alone to only an electronic lock accessible from outside the room. That would be...

Thankfully the hotel moved us to another room, fully resolving the issue. Both suites were lovely, comfortable, and well-stocked for cooking simple meals. The office staff were friendly. The location is excellent and very walkable for Sante Fe. This is a historic hotel and as such has some quirks, but it's a great value for staying downtown. 」
