「We stayed at the Ropemaker for five nights and thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and its restaurant. We had a lovely king-size bed that was very comfortable. The room had a portable air conditioning unit that kept it very cool, which we appreciated. However, it is noisy at night. The outdoor bar area is super cute and has little cabanas that seat about 4 guests. We'll definitely stay here again.」

「Welcoming, hard working and professional staff. W enjoyed a sea view room with a balcony. We were able to check in early and shown to the room. Local maps, guides and bus time tables were available. The bathroom was tiled top to toe and the shower excellent. This is a good pub with accommodation above and good pub food. 「Great 2 night stay in middle of New Forest. Traditional Inn with welcoming, friendly & helpful staff. Room 5 (Knightwood) was modern design with comfy 5' bed & big ensuite shower. Hearty breakfast was made to order, also self service cereals, yoghurts & juices. Delicious dinners both evenings. Although limited parking, arriving ~16:30, found a space both days. 」
