"Clean"

"We had a very large room, with a huge bed (Rm1) The room had everything you needed, it was very spacious, but it did get uncomfortably warm. There are 3 large windows you can open, plus a fan in the wardrobe, we couldn’t sleep without leaving 2 windows open. The outside & grounds are really nice but the inside could do with some TLC, cracks in the walls, looses banisters, our room door shut with a very loud bang and no matter how hard you tried, it always slammed shut, not good for neighbouring rooms. Had breakfast & dinner here, food was good but coffee often only like warm. Plenty of parking. "

"Lights didn’t work in the room. Room clean. Communal areas and toilets not great. Breakfast was good with a good selection. "

"I stay here every time I come to Aberdeen on business. It's a good and reliable hotel. This time though the bed was not the usual standard. In an Executive room there is usually a very comfortable super king bed; this time it was a double with a less good mattress. Not sure what's going on here as one would expect that the same class of room in the same hotel would have identical facilities. "

"The most amazing hotel in an equally amazing setting. From the river running past the bedroom window to the cosy log fire with the beautiful stag head above it, every detail was perfect. The décor was beautifully in keeping with the surroundings, with fly rods and antlers adding to the character and charm. The rooms were well equipped, the bed was super comfy, and everything was spotlessly clean – 10/10 for cleanliness. Breakfast was outstanding and the perfect start to the day. A truly special place that we can’t wait to return to."
